TFC’s is this group of high-schoolers who travel all over Michigan every weekend to put on concerts with drama and music. There is a strong focus on spiritual and leadership development in the teens. I was in the group all through high school and was a leader in the group my last two years. When I was in TFC’s we were running about 200 strong. The current director, Dan Balderman, was in TFC’s with me and was even my RA in the dorms at Spring Arbor for one year! My brother Joel is in the group now (he’s a Junior in HS) and my parents are now on staff.

First off is the whole Ted Haggard thing. One of the pastors (Noel) at my old church in Michigan (Riverview Church) posted his thoughts about it on his blog and they’re great; I wholeheartedly agree with what he says.
