The MGM Grand

Decided to just drive the strip after I finished the first day of class. Traffic was absolutely aweful but the strip is amazing. Made me realize just how amazing Las Vegas is when it comes to entertainment. Just the scale of everything is absolutely astounding.

Have to say, I hate Las Vegas–the entertainment is spectacular in the “spectacle” sense of the word, but there’s very little of substance anywhere in the city. It drives me crazy. Especially with how it’s impossible to get away from the clink of slot machines.
